A number of wonderful databases are available through NC LIVE! Newspapers, journals, poetry and more may be found through these incredible resources.
State Library patrons may obtain the current password to NC LIVE by accessing their patron account online. The below video will walk you through how to log in to your account through our catalog, or you may follow the instructions listed below.

Instructions for obtaining the NC LIVE password:
Begin at the State Library of North Carolina Web page at http://statelibrary.dcr.state.nc.us
Click on "State Library Catalog".
From the catalog page, click on "WebVoyage".
A menu will appear. Please select the "Patron Information" icon by clicking on it.
Next you will be prompted to enter your State Library barcode number, your PIN number, and your last name. If this is the first time you have logged in to your patron account, your default PIN number will be 22222. Click on "OK" to submit the information.
On the next screen, the current NC LIVE password will appear! Please make a note of it. The password changes every six months.
If you signed in with the default PIN number, you may wish to change your PIN number at this time. To do so, click on the link that says "Change PIN".
You will then be prompted to insert the default PIN number and to select a new PIN number. You will be asked to enter your new PIN number twice to insure accuracy. After entering this information, please click on "Submit".
The next screen should indicate that your PIN number was changed successfully. You may then log out of your account safely by clicking on the "Exit" link.
